3D Nail Art in Las Vegas
Sculpted, Not Stickered
3D nail art is hand-built on the nail rather than printed on it — sculpted florals, bows and charms, encapsulated designs, chrome and gem work, and fine hand-painted detail raised off the surface. At NAB Nail Bar on West Flamingo Road, it is done by nail technicians who sculpt and paint the design themselves, one nail at a time, so no two sets come out the same.
Hand-Painted and Sculpted 3D Nail Art
Most of what gets called nail art in Las Vegas is flat — decals, stamps or stickers pressed onto a finished set. True 3D work is built in layers while the nail is being constructed: acrylic or hard gel sculpted into shapes, elements encapsulated inside the enhancement so they are sealed and smooth, and hand-painted detail added freehand. It takes longer, it costs more, and it lasts as long as the set underneath it.
What a 3D Set Involves
Every 3D set starts with a strong base, because the art has to have something to hold on to. That base is usually a full acrylic set, a hard gel or builder gel overlay, or Gel X extensions, depending on how long you want the nails and how much weight the design will carry. Heavier sculpted work — 3D florals, bows, layered charms — sits best on acrylic or hard gel. Once the base is shaped and cured, the art is built on top and sealed. Expect a 3D set to take noticeably longer than a plain full set, so book it as its own appointment rather than adding it on at the end of one.

A Luxury Nail Experience in Las Vegas
NAB Nail Bar is a luxury nail salon in Las Vegas known for high-end service and premium nail artistry. Clients come to us for 3D work specifically because it is hand-done rather than applied, and because the same technician who builds your base also paints the design. Whether it is for a wedding, a birthday, a shoot or a Vegas weekend, the set is designed for you and built on the day.
3D nail art here is sculpted, not stuck on. The shape is built up on the nail while the product is still workable, then cured and sealed, so it becomes part of the enhancement rather than a bead glued to the surface. That is why it survives a Vegas weekend.
3D flowers are the most requested by a distance. Roses, cherry blossom, daisies, lilies and hibiscus, built petal by petal in a single colour or shaded from the centre out, and sized to your nail so a short set still reads delicate rather than bulky. One statement flower on an accent nail, a trailing vine across two or three, or a full hand — your call.
Also booked regularly: sculpted bows and hearts, 3D butterflies and wings, marble and swirl relief, encapsulated charms and crystals set under a clear layer, chrome and cat eye finishes worked around the sculpture, and raised French or ombré edges. If you bring a reference photo, we will tell you honestly what transfers to your nail length and what does not.
Ask for Lundin for long, sculpted and 3D acrylic work, or browse all of our nail technicians and book with whoever’s style fits yours.
3D work is quoted per set, because the price follows how many nails carry sculpture and how detailed each one is — a single flower on an accent nail is not the same job as ten sculpted nails. These are the starting prices the work is built from. Ask for your exact total before your set begins and your technician will give it to you up front.

How long does a 3D set last?
Three to four weeks, the same as the set underneath it. Because the sculpture is cured into the enhancement rather than glued on top, it does not pop off the way applied charms do.
Do 3D nails catch on things?
Placement is what decides that. We keep raised work off the sidewalls and off the index and thumb, where it snags most, unless you specifically want it there. Tell your technician you want it low-profile and it gets built flatter.
How long does the appointment take?
Longer than a plain set — sculpting is hand work and cannot be rushed without it showing. If you want detailed 3D, book earlier in the evening rather than walking in late. Our last appointment is 10:30 PM.
Can you do 3D flowers on Gel X, or only acrylic?
Both. Acrylic sculpts firmer and holds larger pieces better, so it is the usual choice for big florals and long nails. Gel X is lighter on the nail and suits finer, smaller detail. Your technician will tell you which suits what you are asking for.
