Halloween Nail Designs We Are Booking Most This Year
1. Spiderweb French Tips
A thin black web painted over a classic French tip. It reads as Halloween up close and just looks chic from across the room, which makes it the safest choice if you have client meetings during the week and a party on the weekend. Because the art sits on the tip, nail growth does not ruin the design the way cuticle-line art does.
2. Matte Black Coffin Nails
Matte black on long Gel X or acrylic coffin nails, usually with one or two glossy accent nails, gold foil, or a small bat. Simple, dramatic, and easy for us to fix or change if you want something different for November.
3. Blood Drip Designs
Red drips over white, nude, or black. This is the design people ask for by photo more than any other, and it works especially well on long stiletto shapes. The drip pattern also hides the growth line as it moves out.
4. Glow-in-the-Dark Nail Art
Ghosts, spiders, or full glow tips that charge under any light and light up under blacklight. If you are going to a club or a party downtown, this is the set people stop you to look at.
5. Jelly and Sheer Halloween Sets
Translucent purple, orange, or smoke gray with art trapped inside the nail. Encapsulated glitter, tiny spiders, or confetti give it depth that flat polish cannot match.
6. Character and Freestyle Art
Hand-painted movie characters, pumpkins, skeletons, and custom pieces. Our custom nail art techs do these freehand, so bring reference photos and we will build the set around them. If you want something wilder, our team is also known for freestyle duck nails and curved Halloween designs.
What Halloween Nails Cost in Las Vegas
Pricing depends on length, shape, and how much hand-painted work is involved. At NAB Nail Bar, full sets start at $50, and detailed Halloween art typically lands in the $80 to $160 range depending on length and design count. A single accent nail costs far less than ten painted nails, so if you are working to a budget, ask for art on two nails and a solid color on the rest. We have technicians at a range of price points, so tell us your budget when you book and we will match you with the right artist.
When to Book Your Halloween Nails
The last three days before Halloween are the busiest of the month at every salon in town. Two practical rules:
- Book one to two weeks ahead if you want a specific technician or a detailed set.
- Do not book the day of your party. Long Halloween sets with hand-painted art can take two to three hours.
We are open Monday through Saturday until 11 PM, so evening appointments after work are usually the easiest slots to get in October. Walk-ins are welcome, but for October art we recommend booking.
How to Get the Set You Actually Want
- Bring photos. “Something spooky” takes longer and costs more than a clear reference picture.
- Know your date. If you need them gone by November 1, ask for gel on your natural nail instead of extensions. Soak-off is much faster.
- Pick your shape first. Coffin and stiletto give art more room. Short almond limits detail but is easier for work and typing.
- Never peel them off. Peeling takes layers of your natural nail with it. Come in for a proper soak-off.
Halloween Nails FAQ
How long do Halloween nails last?
A Gel X or acrylic set with gel art lasts two to three weeks before a fill, and the art itself holds up for the life of the set when sealed properly. Designs placed at the tip stay looking fresh longer than designs at the cuticle.
Can I get Halloween nails on short nails?
Yes. Spiderwebs, drips, and single-accent designs all work on short nails. Detailed character art needs more surface, so we will usually suggest one or two feature nails instead of a full set.
Do you do glow-in-the-dark nails?
Yes. We use glow gel and pigments that charge under normal light and show up under blacklight.
How much notice do you need for a custom design?
For a detailed custom set, a week of notice is ideal in October. Send or bring your inspiration photos when you book so your technician can plan the time.
