Gel X Fills — Why We Set Fresh Instead
We don’t do Gel X fills, and that is deliberate. Gel X is a full-coverage soft gel tip bonded across the whole nail plate. Once it has grown out, “filling” it means building product over a tip that no longer fits at the cuticle — the result is bulky, it lifts sooner, and you end up back in the chair.
At three to four weeks we soak the old set off, check and reset your natural nail, and apply a fresh set. The soak-off takes about fifteen minutes and does not file down or drill your natural nail, which is the whole point of choosing Gel X in the first place.

If you are looking for a Gel X nail salon near you on the west side, we are at 8891 W Flamingo Rd, Suite 101, in the Pageantry Flamingo Center just east of Fort Apache. Parking is at the door and walk-ins are welcome.
Most of our Gel X clients drive in from Spring Valley, Summerlin, Rhodes Ranch, Peccole Ranch, The Lakes and Desert Shores — all roughly fifteen minutes or less. We are about ten minutes from Chinatown on Spring Mountain, and around twenty from the Strip depending on traffic.
Because we are open until 11 PM Monday to Saturday, a search for a nail salon near you that is open now still lands on us at nine in the evening, when most west-side salons have closed for the night. Last appointment is 10:30 PM. If you want detailed art on a long set, book earlier in the evening so your technician has the chair time.
