CBD Pedicure vs Gel Pedicure: Which One Do Your Feet Need?

When your feet are tired, the pedicure menu can feel like a wall of names. At NAB Nail Bar the list runs from a gel pedicure that starts at $55 up to a pain relief pedicure that starts at $105, and the difference is not just polish. This guide compares the two services people ask about most, the everyday gel pedicure and the CBD pedicure, so you can pick the one that suits your week. For the full description of the treatment itself, see our page on the CBD 6 Pain Relief Pedicure in Las Vegas.

What a gel pedicure covers

A gel pedicure is the dependable default. It includes a soak, nail shaping, cuticle care, callus smoothing and a gel polish finish that holds up far longer on toes than regular polish. Most pedicures take 45 to 60 minutes. If your feet feel fine and you simply want them to look finished, this is the one to book. Prices start at $55, and step-up versions include Gel Lavish from $65, a French tip gel pedicure from $70 and Gel Royalty from $75.

What the CBD pedicure adds

The CBD pedicure is built around the massage. On top of the soak, shaping, cuticle work and callus smoothing, it adds an exfoliating scrub over the foot and lower leg, a CBD-infused massage through the calf, ankle and foot, and a mask with a warm wrap. You finish with regular or gel polish, your choice. It starts at $105 and is our longest pedicure, so plan on about an hour to an hour and a quarter.

The CBD is applied to the skin during the massage. It is not ingested and it is not intoxicating. It is a comfort service, not a medical treatment. If you have a specific foot or circulation condition, or you are pregnant, check with your doctor first and tell your technician when you arrive.

Side by side

  • Time: gel pedicure about 45 to 60 minutes; CBD pedicure about an hour to an hour and a quarter.
  • Starting price: gel pedicure from $55; CBD pain relief pedicure from $105.
  • Massage: a short one with the gel pedicure; an extended one through the calf, ankle and foot with the CBD pedicure.
  • Extras: the CBD pedicure includes the scrub, mask and warm wrap.
  • Best for: gel when you want a clean, polished result; CBD when your legs and feet need a proper break.

Who tends to book the CBD pedicure

It suits people who spend long hours standing or walking: hospitality and service workers, visitors at the end of a convention or a few days on the Strip, runners and gym regulars with tight calves, and anyone whose feet ache by evening. Men book it too. A men’s pedicure starts at $45, and the pain relief pedicure is available to everyone.

Other tiers worth knowing

Between those two sit Gel Specialty from $80 and Gel Anti-Aging from $95, and there is an organic Gel for Dry Feet pedicure from $105. If a toenail is damaged or missing, ask about toenail reconstruction, which can be added to a pedicure. Not sure which tier fits? Describe how your feet feel when you book and we will point you to the right one. Vivian, who does luxury gel and French tip pedicures, has a page on her services.

Add your hands and save

Booking nails and toes together is one appointment instead of two, and it costs less than booking them separately. A gel manicure with a gel pedicure starts at $100. Our pedicure and manicure page lists the combinations, and every starting price is on the pricing page. Each technician sets her own rates, so your final total depends on who you book with.
