Gel X is priced by length, because a short single-colour set and a two-and-a-half-inch freestyle set are very different amounts of work. These are starting prices at our W Flamingo Rd salon in Las Vegas. Gel X Fills — Why We Set Fresh Instead
We don’t do Gel X fills, and that is deliberate. Gel X is a full-coverage soft gel tip bonded across the whole nail plate. Once it has grown out, “filling” it means building product over a tip that no longer fits at the cuticle — the result is bulky, it lifts sooner, and you end up back in the chair.
At three to four weeks we soak the old set off, check and reset your natural nail, and apply a fresh set. The soak-off takes about fifteen minutes and does not file down or drill your natural nail, which is the whole point of choosing Gel X in the first place.
